- Fuel Injection Control (Independent Injection Type)
The engine control module outputs injection signals to the injectors after the basic injection time has been calculated based on the engine conditions, and has been corrected according to the engine coolant temperature sensor signal.
- Ignition Control
The engine control module outputs ignition signals to the igniters after the basic ignition time has been calculated based on the engine conditions, and has been corrected according to the engine coolant temperature sensor signal.
- Engine Speed Control
An electronic throttle control system has been adopted, which conducts first idle speed control according to the engine coolant temperature and idle speed control after warm-up.
- Diagnosis Control
Any malfunction in the sensors of actuators will be diagnosed, and the fail-safe function will be conducted, based on the input and output signals of the ECU.
