System Outline
Hydraulic cylinders have been added to the front and rear stabilizers and these cylinders have been connected via pipes to improve maneuverability and steering by allowing the stabilizers to operate only when needed.
- Operation When Rolling
When cornering, the hydraulic pressure is applied to the front and rear cylinders equally by the stabilizers, which prevents piston movement within the cylinders, and the stabilizer bars function normally suppressing any rough rolling of the vehicle.
- Operation When One Wheel is Lifted Up
When one wheel is lifted up or falls, due to a bump or hole, the pressure in the cylinders moves out of balance and the stabilizer bars move out of alignment, allowing the vehicle to maintain a level position.
