INSTALL STEERING PAD ATTACHING SCREW
1. Install the 2 steering wheel pad attaching screws to the lower steering wheel boss cover.

INSTALL LOWER STEERING WHEEL BOSS COVER
1. Engage the 2 claws to install the lower steering wheel boss cover to the steering wheel sub-assembly.

2. Install the 2 screws.

INSTALL SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH WIRE
INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL STEERING SHAKE DAMPER
1. Install the steering shake damper to the steering wheel assembly.

2. Install the 2 screws.
PLACE FRONT WHEELS TO FACE STRAIGHT AHEAD
ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
1. Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft.

2. Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.
  Torque: 50 N*m ( 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf)
3. Connect the connectors to the spiral cable sub-assembly.
INSTALL STEERING PAD . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
- Make sure that the cable has been disconnected from the battery terminal for at least 2 seconds before reconnecting the cable.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal with the front wheels facing straight ahead.
INSPECT STEERING PAD . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .
