Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT FUSE (RR MPX-B 1, RR-ACC)
- Disconnect the RR MPX-B 1 and RR-ACC fuses from the rear junction block.
- Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition RR MPX-B 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω RR-ACC fuse Always Below 1 Ω NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the R30 controller connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition R30-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition R30-1 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V R30-6 (ACC) - Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
