Camshaft Timing Control Motor: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL WITH EDU MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the 2 camshaft timing control with EDU motor connectors.
    2. Remove the bolt and engine wire bracket.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts and camshaft timing control with EDU motor.
      NOTE: Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing control with EDU motor (connecting surface with timing chain cover).
    4. Remove the O-ring from the timing chain cover.

  6. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL WITH EDU MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the 2 camshaft timing control with EDU motor connectors and engine wire clamp.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and camshaft timing control with EDU motor.
      NOTE: Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing control with EDU motor (connecting surface with timing chain cover).
    3. Remove the O-ring from the timing chain cover.
