Shift Lock System: Inspection

INSPECT SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT:

Disconnect the solenoid connector.

Standard Resistance

RESISTANCE REFERENCE

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
3 (SLS-) - 4 (SLS+)	Always	104 to 126 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the transmission floor shift assembly.

HINT:

Disconnect the solenoid connector.

Standard Resistance

RESISTANCE REFERENCE

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
1 (P+) - 2 (P-)	Parking position switch pushed	10 kΩ or higher
1 (P+) - 2 (P-)	Parking position switch released	Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the transmission floor shift assembly.
