Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT FUSE (RADIO NO. 1, P-ACC, P-IG1-1)
- Disconnect the RADIO NO. 1, P-ACC and P-IG1-1 fuses from the passenger side junction block.
- Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition RADIO NO. 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω P-ACC fuse Always Below 1 Ω P-IG1-1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the L35 panel connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition L35-10 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition L35-1 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V L35-2 (ACC) - Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V L35-3 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
