Inspection Procedure
- CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER
- Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage

NG: Go to step 2
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)
- Disconnect the R16 player connector.
- Disconnect the R32 controller connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER
- Reconnect the R32 controller connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition R32-19 (MUT4) - Body ground DVD system is playing Above 3.5 V NG: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER (See REMOVAL )
OK: REPLACE DISC PLAYER (See REMOVAL )
