Inspection Procedure

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - DISC PLAYER)

Disconnect the R32 controller connector.
Disconnect the R16 player connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

R32-23 (R4+) - R16-10 (R+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
R32-22 (R4-) - R16-11 (R-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
R32-21 (L4+) - R16-12 (L+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
R32-20 (L4-) - R16-13 (L-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
R32-24 (SLD4) - R16-9 (SLD)	Always	Below 1 Ω
R32-23 (R4+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
R32-22 (R4-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
R32-21 (L4+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
R32-20 (L4-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
