Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
  • When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION  ).
  • When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration (see CALIBRATION  ).
  1. CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR) 
    1. Check that the proper yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed.

      OK: Proper yaw rate and acceleration sensor installed. 

      NG: REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR (See  REMOVAL   ) 

      OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Check if the same DTC is recorded (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).

      Result 

      RESULT CHART

      Result Proceed to
      DTC C1240/95 output A
      DTC not output B

      B: CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

      A: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU (See  REMOVAL   )
