Inspection Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (POWER WINDOW)

Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the power window regulator motor UP/DOWN.

CAUTION: Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function does not operate.

D-Door Motor:

Initialize the power window regulator motor (see INITIALIZATION ).

Check that the power window operates normally by opening and closing the window.

  When the power window components are installed correctly, the problem has been caused by battery disconnection while the engine switch is on (IG) or the motor being overheated.
