System Outline
This system's main mission is to communicate between vehicles and the exclusive service center.
- Emergency Call Function
- Automatic emergency call in conjunction with airbag deployment
When a crash signal is received by the system from the center airbag ECU, an emergency call is made to the call center, and vehicle and user information is sent automatically as a data signal. Following that, the call is connected to a stationed operator to receive verbal assistance.
- Manual emergency call
When the system recognizes that the emergency button has been pushed, a call is made to the call center to send the vehicle location information and user information as a data signal. After that, the call is connected to a stationed operator to receive verbal assistance.

- Tracking a stolen car
When an operator at the center is informed from a user that his/her car has been stolen, the operator connects with the car's system to obtain the current vehicle location information from the GPS and to track the car. The operator then contacts the police and the like if necessary. A command transmission from the call center will enable the operator to monitor the sound in the stolen car.
- Remote door lock/unlock
When the system receives the door lock/unlock signal from the call center, it locks/unlocks the vehicle doors via the vehicle LAN.
- Remote alarm
When the system receives the alarm signal from the call center, it begins flashing the light and sounding the horn.
- Road service
An operator from the call center can send the nearest road service vehicle to the site upon receiving contact from a user.
- Coping with an accident
By pushing the service button after a vehicle accident, a user can contact the call center through the system. The operator can then inform the police, emergency center, insurance company, family, etc. of the situation if necessary.

By pushing the service button when a user is lost, they can connect the call center. They can receive the operator's voice navigation to their destination with the latest map from the operator's monitor.
- Shop information (Voice)
By pushing the service button, a user can connect to the call center. From there they can receive information about nearby ATMs, gas stations, hotels, restaurants, etc. verbally from the operator.
- Drive assist
When a user is in a condition where they cannot drive, pushing the service button will connect them to the call center. They can then verbally ask the operator to arrange for a taxi.

By pushing the service button during a conversation with a call center operator, the conversation can be recorded. The recorded data can be played back later by using the voice recognition system.
