System Outline
- Fuel Injection Control (Independent Injection Type)
The ECM outputs the injection signal to the injector after the basic injection time is calculated. This calculation is based on the condition of the engine and is corrected according to the E.F.I engine coolant temperature sensor signal.
- Ignition Control
The engine control module outputs the ignition signal to the igniter after the basic ignition time is calculated. This calculation is also based on the condition of the engine and is corrected according to the engine coolant temperature sensor signal.
- Engine Speed Control
An electronic throttle control system has been adopted, which conducts first idle speed control according to the engine coolant temperature and idle speed control after warm up.
- Diagnosis Control
The malfunction of sensors and actuators is diagnosed, and the fail safe function is activated, according to the signals input to and output by the ECU.
