Slip Indicator Light Circuit: Description

The skid control ECU is connected to the No. 1 meter ECU via CAN communication. The slip indicator light blinks during VSC and/or TR(A)C operation to inform the driver of system operation and when a slip occurs. Also, during TR(A)C OFF mode, VSC OFF mode, or when TR(A)C / VSC operation is disabled, and the slip indicator light illuminates to inform the driver that TR(A)C and VSC operation are disabled. When the system fails, the slip indicator comes on to warn the driver. The slip indicator comes on when traction control is terminated by pressing the VSC OFF switch.
