Inspection Procedure

- CHECK IF PROPER DISC IS INSERTED
- Make sure that the disc is a normal audio disc, and that it is not deformed, flawed, burred or otherwise defective.
OK: Normal audio disc.

NG: DISC IS FAULTY
OK: Go to next step
- Make sure that the disc is a normal audio disc, and that it is not deformed, flawed, burred or otherwise defective.
- CHECK THAT DISC IS INSERTED PROPERLY
- Check whether or not the disc is inserted upside down.
OK: Disc is properly inserted.
NG: INSERT DISC PROPERLY
OK: Go to next step
- Check whether or not the disc is inserted upside down.
- CLEAN DISC
- Clean the disc by wiping the disc's underside radially with a soft cloth
OK: Malfunction disappears.
NOTE: Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative.
NG: Go to step 4
OK: DISC WAS DIRTY
- Clean the disc by wiping the disc's underside radially with a soft cloth
- REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK
- Replace the disc with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again
OK: Malfunction disappears.
NG: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
OK: DISC IS FAULTY
- Replace the disc with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again
