Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT FUSE (P DOOR 1, P-ACC. P-IG-1)
- Disconnect the P DOOR 1, P-ACC and P-IG-1 fuses from the passenger side junction block
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition P DOOR 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω P-ACC fuse P-IG-1 fuse
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the L59 display connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition L59-10 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition L59-1 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V L59-2 (ACC) - Body ground Power switch ON (ACC) 11 to 14 V L59-3 (IG) - Body ground Power switch ON (IG) 11 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
