Inspection Procedure

HINT:
First make sure the CAN communication system is operating normally.
- INSPECT FUSE (RR MPX-B 2)
- Disconnect the RR MPX-B 2 fuse from the luggage room junction block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition RR MPX-B 2 fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER SEAT MODULE SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the S15 or z54 module connector
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition S15-5 (E) - Body ground*1 Always Below 1 Ω z54-3 (E) - Body ground*2 - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition S15-6 (B) - Body ground*1 Always 11 to 14 V z54-11 (B) - Body ground*2
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
