Inspection Procedure

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)

Disconnect the L62 navigation connector
Disconnect the R32 controller connector

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

L62-4 (FL-) - R32-4 (L5-)

L62-5 (SLD1) - R32-5 (SLD5)
L62-3 (FL+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
L62-4 (FL-) - Body ground
L62-1 (FR+) - Body ground
L62-2 (FR-) - Body ground

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY

Reconnect the L62 navigation connector.

Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform between each terminal and body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the chart below.

R32-3 (L5+) - Body ground	Audio sound is being produced	A waveform synchronized with sound is output
R32-4 (LS-) - Body ground
R32-1 (R5+) - Body ground
R32-2 (R5-) - Body ground

NG: REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY (see REMOVAL )

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
