Inspection Procedure

INSPECT FUSE (RR MPX-B 1, RR-ACC)

Disconnect the RR MPX-B 1 and RR-ACC fuses from the rear junction block.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
RR MPX-B 1 fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω
RR-ACC fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPLACE FUSE

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the R16 box connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
R16-24 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
R16-28 (B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
R16-27 (ACC) - Body ground	Power switch ON (ACC)	11 to 14 V

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
