Using Intelligent Tester

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the engine switch ON.
  3. Turn the tester ON.
  4. Enter the menu items in this order: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / CHASSIS / TIRE PRESSURE.
  5. Select the "UTILITY", and press "ENTER" to move to next screen.
  6. Select "REGIST TIRE SET" item. Then, press "ENTER".
  7. "UTILITY REGIST TIRE SET" screen is displayed. Then, press "YES".
  8. "UTILITY REGIST TIRE SET" screen is displayed. Then, press "ENTER".
  9. Enter the IDs (ID1 to ID5) in the field provided and transmit them to the tire pressure warning ECU. Then, press "ENTER".
    NOTE: If step  9 is not completed within 300 seconds, this mode will be canceled.
  10. "THE REGISTRATION SUCCEEDED" screen is displayed. Then, press "ENTER".
  11. To confirm: Enter the menu items in this order: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / CHASSIS / TIRE PRESSURE / DATA LIST. Read the "TIRE PRESS" values.
NOTE: It may take up to about 2 or 3 minutes to update the tire pressure data. If the values are not displayed after a few minutes, perform troubleshooting according to the inspection procedure for DTCs C2121/21 to C2125/25.
NOTE: If the IDs have not been registered, DTC C2171/71 is set in the tire pressure warning ECU after 3 minutes or more.
NOTE: The tire pressure information reception condition can also be confirmed through the multi-information display's tire pressure display screen.
