How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT: 

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the front power seat control system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

   NEXT: Go to next step 

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage

   11 to 14 V

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

   NEXT: Go to next step 

3. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK 

   NEXT: Go to next step 

4. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LARGE-SCALE MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)* 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally.

   3. On-vehicle inspection. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION 
   4. Inspection
      1. seat memory switch. Refer to INSPECTION
      2. power seat switch. Refer to INSPECTION
      3. power seat motor assembly. Refer to INSPECTION
      4. front power seat lumbar switch. Refer to INSPECTION
