Installation (To 10/2008)

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the generator with the 2 nuts and bolt.
  Torque: 39 N*m ( 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)
  
  for bolt and nut A
  
  Torque: 15 N*m ( 153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
  
  for nut B
2. Connect the engine wire bracket with the bolt.
INSTALL VANE PUMP PULLEY
1. Using SST, install the vane pump pulley with the nut.
  - SST: 09960-10010
  Torque: 43 N*m ( 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL FAN & GENERATOR V BELT . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
INSTALL V-BANK COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 75
INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization . Refer to INITIALIZATION .
  NOTE:
  Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
