Active Control Engine Mount: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL ACTIVE CONTROL ENGINE MOUNT 
    1. Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (81 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

    2. Install the active control engine mount with the 3 nuts.

      Torque: 52 N*m (530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET FR 
    1. Install the engine mounting bracket FR with the 4 bolts.

      Automatic Transaxle Side 

      Torque: 64 N*m (653 kgf*cm, 47 ft.*lbf) 

      Active Engine Mounting Side 

      Torque: 87 N*m (887 kgf*cm, 64 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the earth cable with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the 2 connectors and clamp.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 71
  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 74
  5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 97
  6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 98
  7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 100
  8. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 
  9. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 
  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
