Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - NAVIGATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display connector p1 and the navigation ECU connector p2.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      IVI- - IVI- Always Below 1Ω
      IVI+ - IVI+ Always Below 1 Ω
      IVI- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      IVI+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display connector E63 and stereo component amplifier connector M30.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      IVO+ -II1+ Always Below 1 Ω
      IVO- -II1- Always Below 1 Ω
      IVO+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      IVO- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
