Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch: Inspection: Inspection
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Check the switch function.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2 (U) - 5 (E) Auto up or up position Below 1 Ω 4 (A) - 5 (E) Auto up or auto down position Below 1 Ω 10 (D) - 5 (E) Auto down or down position Below 1 Ω 2 (U) - 5 (E) Free 10 kΩ or higher 4 (A) - 5 (E) Free 10 kΩ or higher 10 (D) - 5 (E) Free 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the LED illuminates.
- Apply battery voltage to the power window regulator switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.
OK
Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 8 (LED)
Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)LED illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side).
- Apply battery voltage to the power window regulator switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.
- Check the switch function.
