Terminals Of Ecu

  1. MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the M18 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M18-12 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M18-15 (CPUB) - M18-12 (E) G - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M18-18 (SIG) - M18-12 (E) B - W-B Power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M18 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      M18-13 (KUL) - M18-12 (E) W - W-B Door key-linked door unlock input Key in driver door lock cylinder not turned 11 to 14 V
      M18-13 (KUL) - M18-12 (E) W - W-B Door key-linked door unlock input Key in driver door lock cylinder turned to unlock Below 1 V
      M18-16 (D) - M18-12 (E) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window regulator switch OFF 11 to 14 V
      M18-16 (D) - M18-12 (E) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window switch DOWN (Manual operation) Below 1 V

      M18-20 (U) - M18-12 (E) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window fully stopped (UP) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network master switch assembly may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the L17 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L17-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the L17 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the O9 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O9-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O9 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear LH side) may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the N9 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      N9-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N9 power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disconnect the M16 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M16-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M16-2 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M16 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      M16-5 (LED) - M16-1 (E) BR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      M16-7 (DWN1) - M16-1 (E) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window regulator switch OFF 11 to 14 V
      M16-7 (DWN1) - M16-1 (E) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window switch DOWN (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      M16-7 (DWN1) - M16-1 (E) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

      M16-10 (UP1) - M16-1 (E) R - W-B Power window motor UP input Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window fully stopped (UP) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) may have a malfunction.

  6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the L15 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      L15-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L15-2 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the L15 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) may have a malfunction.

  7. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the O10 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O10-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O10-2 (B) - Body ground R - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O10 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      O10-4 (AUTO) - O10-1 (E) B - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP input Engine switch on (IG), rear LH side power window fully open 11 to 14 V

  8. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the N10 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N10 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  9. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) 
    1. Disconnect the RD, RK and RN main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the RD, RK and RN main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
