Speed Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  2
  3. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID  See step  3
  4. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  4
  5. REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY  See step  5
  6. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY  See step  6
  7. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NT 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" wrench, remove the bolt and speed sensor from the oil pump.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the speed sensor.
  8. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NC3 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the transmission case.
  9. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR SP2 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the transmission case.
