Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  3
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  4
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  See step  5
  4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE  See step  8
  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
  6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 5
  7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
    2. Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the sensor and gasket.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
