HINT: 

The following items can be customized.

NOTE:
  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

  3. THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM 
    SECURITY

    Display (Item) Default Content Setting
    Warning by Horn ON Function that allows vehicle horns and theft deterrent horn to be used as warning device. ON/OFF
    Passive Mode OFF Passive arming mode is a function that switches theft deterrent system from arming preparation state to armed state 30 seconds after key is not inside vehicle and driver side door is closed.
    In passive arming mode, theft deterrent system will judge that a theft is taking place and switch to alarm sounding state if one of the following operations are not performed within 14 seconds (see entry delay below) after door is opened:
    • Unlock any door by key or wireless operation
    • Turn power switch ON (IG)
    ON/OFF

  4. LIGHTING SYSTEM

    HINT: 

    Sensitivity adjustment can hardly be confirmed. Check by driving the customer's vehicle.

    LIGHT CONTROL

    HINT: 

    *4: When customizing the foot light, make sure the driver seat and front passenger seat are set to the same setting.

  5. LIGHTING SYSTEM (Door linked personal light illumination control)

    Mode 1: When door is opened, personal light of opened door illuminates

    Mode 2: When door is opened, both front personal lights and rear personal lights illuminate

    Mode 3: Front personal lights and rear personal lights are not linked to doors

    1. To change modes, press the map light assembly DOOR and ON switch simultaneously, and then turn the power switch from off to on (IG). Each this operation will change the mode (Mode 1 → Mode 2 → Mode 3 → Mode 1).

      HINT: 

      After changing modes, the front personal lights respond by blinking as follows:

      • Mode 1: once
      • Mode 2: twice
      • Mode 3: three times
  6. LIGHTING SYSTEM (Map light assembly ON switch linked illumination control)

    • Mode 4: When map light assembly ON switch is pressed, front personal lights, rear personal lights, front seat lights and rear seat lights illuminate.
    • Mode 5: When map light assembly ON switch is pushed, front seat lights and rear seat lights illuminate.
    1. To change modes, press the map light assembly ON, DOOR and OFF switches simultaneously, and then turn the power switch from off to on (IG). Each this operation will change the mode (Mode 4 → Mode 5 → Mode 4).

      HINT: 

      After changing modes, the front personal lights responds by blinking as follows:

      • Mode 4: four times
      • Mode 5: five times
  7. WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM

    Unlock/Key Twice ON Function that unlocks only driver side door when driver side door key cylinder is turned to unlock once, and unlock all doors when it is turned to unlock twice. For OFF setting, turning it once unlocks all doors. ON/OFF

    Wireless Control ON ON/OFF of wireless door lock function ON/OFF
    Open Door Warning ON If door is not completely closed and transmitter LOCK switch is pressed, this function makes buzzer sound for 10 seconds ON/OFF

  11. SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (FOR DOOR LOCK) (ENTRY UNLOCK MODE SWITCHING FUNCTION) 
    NOTE: Because the key (for card type) does not have a wireless transmitter function, it cannot be used to change the entry unlock mode.
    1. Check that the power source mode is OFF and the LED on the key is not blinking. Press the LOCK switch and one of the other switches on the key at the same time for approximately 5 seconds while the key is in the actuation area.
      • When the switches are pressed and held for 5 seconds, the entry door unlock mode changes in the following order: driver door unlock mode, one door unlock mode, doors on one side unlock mode, all door unlock mode.
      NOTE: After pressing and holding the switches for 5 seconds, wait 5 seconds before performing the same procedure again.
      • One door unlock mode:

        When a touch sensor is touched, the touch sensor's door unlocks. For example, if the driver door's touch sensor is touched, the driver door unlocks.

      • All door unlock mode:

        When a touch sensor is touched, all doors unlock.

      • Driver door unlock mode (default):

        When the driver door's touch sensor is touched, only the driver door unlocks. When another touch sensor is touched, all doors unlock.

      • Doors on one side unlock mode:

        When a touch sensor is touched, the doors on the side of the touch sensor unlock. For example, when the driver door's touch sensor is touched, the driver door and driver side rear door unlock.

    2. The certification ECU receives this signal from the entry door control receiver and changes the smart access system with push-button start to the entry unlock mode.

    4. The certification ECU sounds the buzzers of the wireless door lock buzzer and combination meter to inform the user that the mode has been switched.

      HINT: 

      The function only changes the entry unlock mode of the smart access system with push-button start. It does not switch the unlocking of the wireless door lock control.

      • One door mode:

      • All door unlock mode:

  12. SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (FOR DOOR LOCK) (KEY CANCEL) 
    NOTE: Because the key (for card type) does not have a wireless transmitter function, it cannot be used to perform the key cancel operation.

    The key cancel operation disables the following functions:

    • Entry Ignition
    • Entry Unlock/Lock
    • Entry Luggage Compartment Open
    • Key Lock-in Prevention
    • Warning
    • Memory Call
    1. The operation procedures are as follows:

      Precondition:

      Power switch OFF, driver side door closed and unlocked.

      1. Unlock the driver side door once with the UNLOCK switch of the key.
      2. Open the driver door within 5 seconds.
      3. Unlock the driver side door twice with the UNLOCK switch of the key within 5 seconds.
      4. Close and open the driver door twice within 30 seconds.

        (Driver door: Close → Open → Close → Open)

      5. Unlock the driver side door twice with the UNLOCK switch of the key within 5 seconds.
      6. Close and open the driver door within 30 seconds.

        (Driver door: Close → Open)

      7. Close the driver door within 5 seconds.

        When key cancel is activated, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds twice.

        To return to the original condition, perform the procedures again. When the original condition is returned, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds once.

    • *3: This function is linked with the power window key-linked function. If the power window key-linked function is set to OFF, the sliding roof key-linked function will not operate even when it is set to ON.
