Removal

UF1AE TRANSFER: 4WD CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/o Illumination)

HINT
Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Illumination)

HINT
Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH Removal

4. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE 4WD CONTROL ECU

(a) Turn back the front floor carpet assembly.

(b) Disengage the 2 clips and separate the junction connector.





(c) Remove the bolt and nut.





(d) Disconnect the clamp and connector, and remove the 4WD control ECU.
