Fail-Safe Chart

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 

    HINT: 

    • Fail-safe mode has the following modes:
    1. Pulse sensor malfunction (for jam protection detection sensor)
    2. Pulse sensor malfunction (for window position detection sensor)
    3. Pulse direction malfunction
    4. No signal from both pulse sensors
    5. Jam protection position malfunction
    6. ECU malfunction
    7. EEPROM reading malfunction
    1. Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly
      1. When a part other than the ECU is malfunctioning:
        POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SIDE WINDOW)

        Power Window Operation Condition
        Engine Switch on (IG) Engine Switch off
        (Key-off operation Permitted)        		 Engine Switch off
        (Key-off operation Prohibited)
        Auto up
        (hold switch at auto up position)        		 •*1 X X
