Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the M17 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      M17-8 (B) - M17-20 (GND) L - W-B +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M17-9 (IGB) - M17-20 (GND) B - W-B Ignition power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      M17-9 (IGB) - M17-20 (GND) B - W-B Ignition power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      M17-10 (B) - M17-20 (GND) L - W-B +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M17-20 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M17 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    4. Initialize the power window regulator master switch assembly. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
    5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      M17-1 (UP) - M17-20 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor up output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed Below 1 V
      M17-11 (DN) - M17-20 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor down output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window switch off Below 1 V
      M17-11 (DN) - M17-20 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor down output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window switch down (Manual operation) 11 to 14 V

      M17-18 (VCC) - M17-3 (SGND) LG - BR Power window motor power source Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window switch off Below 1 V
      M17-18 (VCC) - M17-3 (SGND) LG - BR Power window motor power source Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window switch up or down 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator master switch assembly may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the L17 power window regulator switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      L17-8 (B) - L17-20 (GND) LG - W-B +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      L17-10 (B) - L17-20 (GND) L - W-B +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the L17 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    4. Initialize the power window regulator switch assembly. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
    5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 
    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver side) may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side) 
    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH side) may have a malfunction.

  6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side) 
    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH side) may have a malfunction.

  7. CHECK SLIDING ROOF CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the P54 and P55 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      P55-2 (B7) - Body ground P - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      P55-3 (B3) - Body ground L - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P54 and P55 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the sliding roof ECU assembly may have a malfunction.

    5. Disconnect the Q33, Q34, Q35 and Q36 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.

    6. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    7. Reconnect the Q34, Q35 and Q36 sliding roof ECU assembly connectors.
    8. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the sliding roof ECU assembly may have a malfunction.

  8. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) 
    1. Disconnect the RK, RN and RD junction block connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      RK-5 (BECU) - Body ground G-R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      RN-1 (BATB) - Body ground R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      RD-7 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      RD-17 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the RK, RN, and RD junction block connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      P1-14 (DCTY) - Body ground V - Body ground Driver side door courtesy light switch input Driver door open Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) may have a malfunction.

  9. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the P33 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with connector disconnected.

      P33-1 (+B1) - Body ground G - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      P33-17 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      • If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.
    3. Reconnect the P33 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.
