Fuel Relief Valve: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install a new gasket to the fuel relief valve assembly.

    2. Using a 14 mm deep socket wrench, install the fuel relief valve assembly to the No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.

      Torque: 40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Do not apply oil to the threads of the fuel relief valve assembly and No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.
      • Do not allow foreign matter to enter the pipe during installation.
    3. Connect the No. 3 fuel hose.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  8
  3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the intake air surge tank assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK  . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 1
