Installation (To 12/2010): Installation

  1. INSTALL ECM 
    1. Install the 2 ECM brackets with the 4 screws.

      Torque: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the 2 ECM connectors.
      NOTE:

      When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter is not stuck between the connectors and other parts.

      1. Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.
        NOTE:

        Make sure that the 2 levers are securely lowered.

    3. Install the ECM to the body.

    4. Install the ECM with the 3 nuts.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 19
  3. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  4. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  5. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  6. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    If the cable is disconnected, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
