Installation (To 12/2010): Installation

- INSTALL STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
- Install the steering angle sensor to the spiral cable.
NOTE:
- Engage the claws securely.
- Do not damage the claws.
- Install the steering angle sensor to the spiral cable.
- INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE . Refer to INSPECTION - Step 1
- PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
- INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
- CENTER SPIRAL CABLE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
- INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 14
- INSTALL STEERING PAD . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
- INSPECT STEERING PAD . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
- INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- Make sure that the cable has been disconnected from the battery terminal for at least 2 seconds before reconnecting the cable.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal with the front wheels facing straight ahead.
- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 7
