TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

NOTE: It is necessary to register the transmitter ID with the tire pressure warning ECU, when replacing the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter and/or tire pressure warning ECU. See REGISTERING TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID CODES . This system also requires initializing after changing tires or wheels or after rotating the tires. See TPMS INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE .

If the warning light comes on, it indicates that a tire has low pressure. Check and adjust tire pressure to specification to shut light off.
