How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 

    Standard voltage

    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the Techstream, inspect the CAN communication function to ensure there are no malfunctions in the communication system.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs (CAN communication system) output A
      DTCs (CAN communication system) output B

      HINT: 

      The skid control ECU sends the signals of each warning light to CAN communication.

      B → PROCEED TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

      A: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA* 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  5. CLEAR DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA* 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  6. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  7. DTC CHECK AND CLEAR* 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  8. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION
