How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
NEXT: Go to next step
- INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
- Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output B B → GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

- Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTCs and note any stored DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Delete the DTCs.
- Check whether the same DTC(s) relevant to the hybrid control system or smart access system with push-button start recurs by reproducing the symptoms indicated by the noted DTC(s) in the first step above.RESULT
Result Proceed to DTC output does not reoccur A Hybrid control system DTC output reoccurs B Smart access system with push-button start DTC output reoccurs C B → GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
