MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION: LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.





1. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING THE TECHSTREAM

(a) When using the Techstream to troubleshoot with the engine switch off:

Connect the Techstream to the DLC3, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the Techstream and the vehicle begins.

(b) After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG).
