1UR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: SFI SYSTEM: PRECAUTION
CAUTION:
When using the Techstream, observe the following items for safety reasons:
* Read the Techstream instruction books before using the Techstream.
* Make sure that the Techstream cable is not caught on the pedals, shift lever and steering wheel when driving with the Techstream connected to the vehicle.
* When driving the vehicle for testing purposes while using the Techstream, 2 persons are required. One person drives the vehicle and the other operates the Techstream.
NOTICE:
* Perform initialization (throttle position) after replacing the throttle body assembly or cleaning any throttle body components Installation.
* Perform initialization (throttle position) after reconnecting the battery cable or replacing the ECM Installation.
* Perform Dynamic Laser Cruise Control System initialization after replacing the ECM Programming and Relearning.
* Perform Reset Memory (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM Programming and Relearning.
* Perform Registration (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM Programming and Relearning.
HINT
Reset Memory cannot be completed by only disconnecting the battery.
