Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the K3 multiplex network master switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      K3-11 (B) - K3-12 (GND) L - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      K3-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the K3 multiplex network master switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      K3-15 (DOWN) - K3-12 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor down input Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window regulator switch off 11 to 14 V

      K3-18 (LED) - K3-12 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      K3-18 (LED) - K3-12 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Approximately 43 seconds after Engine switch turned off Below 1 V
      K3-20 (UP) - K3-12 (GND) P - W-B Power window motor up input Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window switch off 11 to 14 V
      K3-20 (UP) - K3-12 (GND) P - W-B Power window motor up input Engine switch on (IG), driver side power window switch up (Manual operation) Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network master switch may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the J1 power window regulator switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J1-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the J1 power window regulator switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      J1-2 (UP) - J1-5 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor up input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch off 11 to 14 V

      J1-4 (AUTO) - J1-5 (GND) P - W-B Power window motor auto up or down input Engine switch on (IG), door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V
      J1-8 (LED) - J1-5 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      J1-8 (LED) - J1-5 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Approximately 43 seconds after the Engine switch is turned off Below 1 V
      J1-10 (DOWN) - J1-5 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor down input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch off 11 to 14 V
      J1-10 (DOWN) - J1-5 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor down input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch down Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the M2 rear power window regulator switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M2-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M2 rear power window regulator switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M2-2 (UP) - M2-5 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor up input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch off 11 to 14 V

      M2-4 (AUTO) - M2-5 (GND) P - W-B Power window motor auto up or down input Engine switch on (IG), door glass fully open 11 to 14 V

      M2-4 (AUTO) - M2-5 (GND) P - W-B Power window motor auto up or down input Engine switch on (IG), door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V
      M2-8 (LED) - M2-5 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      M2-8 (LED) - M2-5 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Approximately 43 seconds after the Engine switch is turned off Below 1 V
      M2-10 (DOWN) - M2-5 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor down input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch off 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the L2 rear power window regulator switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L2-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the L2 rear power window regulator switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L2-2 (UP) - L2-5 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor up input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch off 11 to 14 V

      L2-8 (LED) - L2-5 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      L2-8 (LED) - L2-5 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Approximately 43 seconds after the Engine switch is turned off Below 1 V
      L2-10 (DOWN) - L2-5 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor down input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch off 11 to 14 V
      L2-10 (DOWN) - L2-5 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor down input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch down Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the rear power window regulator switch may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the K6 power window regulator motor connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      K6-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      K6-2 (B) - Body ground R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the K6 power window regulator motor connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      K6-5 (LED) - K6-1 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  6. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the J6 power window regulator motor connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J6-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J6-2 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the J6 power window regulator motor connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  7. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the M4 rear power window regulator motor connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M4-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M4-2 (B) - Body ground W - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M4 rear power window regulator motor connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the rear power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  8. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the L4 rear window regulator motor connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L4-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L4-2 (B) - Body ground W - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the L4 rear power window regulator motor connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L4-5 (LED) - L4-1 (GND) V - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      L4-7 (DOWN) - L4-1 (GND) B - W-B Power window motor down output Engine switch on (IG), door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the rear power window regulator motor may have a malfunction.

  9. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). Refer to REMOVAL .
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A-30 (BECU) - Body ground - Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      A-31 (ALTB) - Body ground - Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      A-32 (IG) - Body ground - Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      A-32 (IG) - Body ground - Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      A-29 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      A-29 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      A-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G46-3 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). Refer to REMOVAL .
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      2H-27 (FLCY) - Body ground R - Body ground Front door LH courtesy switch input Front door LH open Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or driver side junction block assembly may have a malfunction.
