Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal: Removal
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
- DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine)
. Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 2
- REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK
- Remove the front wiper motor and link. Refer to REMOVAL
.
- REMOVE WATER GUARD PLATE RH
. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
- REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL
. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 7
- REMOVE COWL BODY MOUNTING REINFORCEMENT RH
. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
- REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 28
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
. Refer to REMOVAL - Step 44
- SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE
- Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the 2 ground cables.

- Disconnect the 4 connectors.
- Disconnect the connector clamp from the bracket.
- REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Using SST, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor and gasket.
