Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) 
    1. Disconnect the RK, RN and RD main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      RK-5 (BECU) - Body ground G-R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      RN-1 (BATB) - Body ground R - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      RD-7 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      RD-17 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the RK, RN and RD main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      P1-14 (DCTY) - Body ground V - Body ground Driver side door courtesy switch input Driver side door open Below 1 V

      J75-23 (PCTY) - Body ground W - Body ground Front passenger side door courtesy switch input Front passenger side door open Below 1 V
      J75-23 (PCTY) - Body ground W - Body ground Front passenger side door courtesy switch input Front passenger side door closed 11 to 14 V
      J75-25 (LGCY) - Body ground G - Body ground Luggage compartment door courtesy light switch input Luggage compartment door open Below 1 V
      J75-25 (LGCY) - Body ground G - Body ground Luggage compartment door courtesy light switch input Luggage compartment door closed 11 to 14 V
      RJ-9 (ACT+) - Body ground V - Body ground Front passenger door lock motor lock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch off Below 1 V
      RJ-9 (ACT+) - Body ground V - Body ground Front passenger side door lock motor lock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch locked 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      RD-10 (ACT+) - Body ground V - Body ground Driver side door lock motor lock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch, or driver door key cylinder off Below 1 V
      RD-10 (ACT+) - Body ground V - Body ground Driver side door lock motor lock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch, or driver door key cylinder locked 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      P1-4 (ACTD) - Body ground LG - Body ground Driver side door lock motor unlock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch, or driver door key cylinder off Below 1 V
      P1-4 (ACTD) - Body ground LG - Body ground Driver side door lock motor unlock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch, or driver door key cylinder unlocked 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      RJ-17 (ACT-) - Body ground L - Body ground Front passenger side door lock motor unlock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch off Below 1 V
      RJ-17 (ACT-) - Body ground L - Body ground Front passenger side door lock motor unlock drive output Driver or front passenger side door control switch unlocked 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      J75-27 (LSWP) - Body ground SB - Body ground Front passenger side door unlock detection switch input Front passenger side door unlocked Below 1 V
      J75-27 (LSWP) - Body ground SB - Body ground Front passenger side door unlock detection switch input Engine switch off, all doors closed and front passenger side door locked 11 to 14 V
      RA-7 (GSW) - Body ground B - Body ground Center airbag sensor signal Engine switch on (IG) with center airbag sensor assembly connector disconnected 2.8 to 4.3 V

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the M17 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M17-20 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M17-8 (B) - M17-20 (GND) L - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M17-10 (B) - M17-20 (GND) L - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      M17-9 (IGB) - M17-20 (GND) B - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      M17-9 (IGB) - M17-20 (GND) B - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M17 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      M17-5 (KL) - M17-20 (GND) L - W-B Driver side door key-linked lock input Driver side door key cylinder free 11 to 14 V
      M17-5 (KL) - M17-20 (GND) L - W-B Driver side door key-linked lock input Driver side door key cylinder locked Below 1 V
      M17-4 (KUL) - M17-20 (GND) W - W-B Driver side door key-linked unlock input Driver side door key cylinder free 11 to 14 V
      M17-4 (KUL) - M17-20 (GND) W - W-B Driver side door key-linked unlock input Driver side door key cylinder unlocked Below 1 V
      M17-13 (LSW) - M17-20 (GND) SB - W-B Driver side door unlock detection switch input Driver side door unlocked Below 1 V
      M17-13 (LSW) - M17-20 (GND) SB - W-B Driver side door unlock detection switch input Driver side door locked 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator master switch assembly may have a malfunction.
