Auto Up Operation does not Fully Close Power Window (Jam Protection Function is Activated): Procedure
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION (POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (APPLICABLE LOCATION))
- Initialize the power window control system (applicable location). Refer to INITIALIZATION .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK AUTO UP / DOWN FUNCTION
- Check that the auto up* and down function using the power window regulator master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembly operates the power windows. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

Auto up* and down function operates normally.

OK → END (INITIALIZATION WAS DEFECTIVE)
- Check that the auto up* and down function using the power window regulator master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembly operates the power windows. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
- CHECK WINDOW GLASS SLIDING MOVEMENT (APPLICABLE LOCATION)
- Remove the window regulator.
- Install the window glass onto the door glass run.
- Check if the door window regulator operates smoothly.
- Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand.
OK
Door window glass slides smoothly.
HINT:
Ensure the following:
- The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact.
- Neither deformation nor foreign objects are in the glass run.
WARNING:Perform initialization again.
