A960E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. SEPARATE FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

(b) Remove the nut, washer and transmission control shaft lever RH.

(d) Remove the lock nut and lock washer.

(e) Remove the bolt and park/neutral position switch.

HINT
Make sure that the manual valve lever shaft has not been rotated prior to installing the park/neutral position switch as the detent spring may become detached from the manual valve lever shaft.
