Removal

1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Service and Repair

6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

(b) Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the sensor and gasket.





(c) Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
