Rear Acceleration Sensor: Installation: Installation
- INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY
- Install the acceleration sensor with bracket with the bolt.
Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)
NOTE:- Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor.
- Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
- Connect the sensor connector.
- Install the acceleration sensor with bracket with the bolt.
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
- INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 6
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 8
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 2 TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 9
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 LIGHT ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 10
- INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 12
- INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 13
- INSTALL ROPE HOOK . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 14
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 15
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 11
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform initialization. Refer to INITIALIZATION
.NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Perform initialization. Refer to INITIALIZATION

- CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
- Check the SRS warning light. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .
