INSPECT TRANSFER FRONT DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY
1. Using a micrometer, measure the outer diameter of the drive gear journal surface at the locations indicated.

  Minimum outer diameter

  - If the outer diameter is less than the minimum, replace the drive gear.
