Engine Control System (2UR-FSE) (Service Information): ECM: Installation: Installation

INSTALL ECM
1. Install the 2 ECM brackets with the 4 screws.
2. Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

3. Connect the 6 ECM connectors.
CONNECT NO. 2 CONNECTOR HOLDER
1. Attach the 2 claws to connect the connector holder.

2. Connect the 2 engine wire connectors.
INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
1. Install the ECU with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

2. Connect the 4 ECU connectors.
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER

1. Install the ECU cover with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 91
INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 95
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 15
INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 16
INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 17
