DTC P0101: Mass Air Flow Circuit Range / Performance Problem: Procedure
- CHECK ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P0101)
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
Result
Display (DTC Output) Proceed to P0101 A P0101 and other DTCs B HINT:
If any DTCs other than P0101 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

- CHECK AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM
- Check the air induction system for vacuum leaks.
OK
No leaks in air induction system.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM
OK: Go to next step
- Check the air induction system for vacuum leaks.
- CHECK PCV HOSE CONNECTIONS
- Check the PCV hose connections. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2012 - ] - Step 1

OK
PCV hose is connected correctly and is not damaged.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE PCV HOSE
OK → See step 5
- Check the PCV hose connections. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2012 - ] - Step 1

- GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2012 - ]
- REPLACE MASS AIR FLOW METER. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2012 - ]
